His ranges of works are history, poetry, bibliographies, and academic theses. He has 89 works in 203 publications in 7 languages and 730 library holdings to his credit. He was a noted scholar and historian. He is the author of various books such as — An essay on the origin of the South Indian temple; Kumara Ramuni katha; Studies in the history of the third dynasty of Vijayanagara; Social and cultural life of the eastern Chalukyas of Vengi; and Inscriptions of Andhra Pradesh, Warangal District.
